With local manufacturing as its focus, Nagode group formed its FMCG arm Daraju Industries limited to locally manufacture Tooth Paste and Detergents. Daraju Industries Limited is the manufacturing wing focused on FMCG. Daraju is a Yoruba word meaning “Most Beautiful”. This, in itself, signifies the company’s philosophy of giving a beautiful and healthy life to the Nigerian mass at a reasonable price.
In Nigeria, we make MYMY brand of Toothpaste, Soap and Detergent and established ourselves among the TOP Brands in the country. MY MY indicates MY country MY products. The toothpaste and detergent factory is a modern outfit with a fully integrated facility from printing and manufacture of boxes/ mono cartons to the production and packing of toothpaste. Within a year of commencement, the brand has captured 10% market share in the Nigerian Market
With its success story in the toothpaste and detergent manufacturing, Daraju is focusing on expansions plans into other FMCG products in future. Daraju is also in the process of setting up operations in Cameroon, India, China and South Korea. |
